Dunston Staiths Heritage Open Day

Discover a Grade II Scheduled Monument on the River Tyne at Dunston, Gateshead, this Heritage Open Days.

The Staiths are open from 12:30-16:00 – no need to book!

This old timber structure has uneven surfaces and we ask everyone to wear sensible shoes for their visit and be aware of trip hazards.
In the case of bad/extreme weather we won’t be able to open. Please check Tyne Derwent Way’s Facebook and Instagram

Exposed location – poor weather conditions (rain or high winds) may require closure.
Wooden decking and uneven surfaces – wear appropriate footwear.
