Westgate Hill Cemetery, Heritage Open Day

Newcastle’s oldest commercial cemetery (non-consecrated), a wide range of people were buried here from 1829 until 1957. With listed features and tombs, several significant local people are buried here alongside commonwealth war graves, in this small 3 acre site.

Night Markets by Candlelight at St. Mary’s

Soft strings echo through the air weaving music in every corner. This is not a hurried market this is a feeling, one that invites wonder and reflection, take in the beauty of your surroundings, engage with local creatives, shop mindfully. Night Markets by Candlelight welcome those who are drawn to creativity and calm. £2 (plus small booking fee) pre purchased tickets. Hourly timeslots to ensure a quiet calm shopping experience.
